On 05 June 2026, representatives of the Development and Justice Initiative (DAJI), Abhayapuri participated in the World Environment Day celebration organized by the Abhayapuri Town Committee at Rajbari Pukhuri Premises, Abhayapuri. The programme brought together Town Committee officials, community members and invited organizations to promote environmental conservation, afforestation and sustainable community practices. As part of the initiative, DAJI contributed neem saplings for plantation, while Shrishti Waste Management Services distributed mango saplings and shared information on responsible waste management and environmental sustainability. Through collective plantation activities and discussions on environmental stewardship, the programme reinforced the importance of community participation in protecting natural resources and building cleaner, greener and more sustainable communities for future generations.
